I just spoke with Linda at AAI for about 10 minutes. She is so nice. I asked her a million questions and she was so patient. Mostly, I wanted to know how far down the "waiting for a dossier packet" list we are since we've been waiting since early May. She said we are number two on the list, so we should have our agency contract by end of july/first of august and our dossier packet within about 2 weeks of that ... FINALLY. It's getting closer ... She said it's great that our homestudy is almost complete -- that will definitely speed things up for us!!! :-)

julie, i just found you off the forums (SL) How very exciting. I will be following your blog and praying for you in this journey. i am just about to pop (literally) with our third baby here, and we are already in teh beginning stages of adopting from Ethiopia, too! We live in Canada, though, and I don't believe our agency uses Layla house. Praying for you in your journey. darci (happymommy on the SL forums)
