Do *I* have a family?!

Another adoptive parent from our agency's yahoo group went to go pick up her kids this week. I asked her to take a few pictures of Tinsaye for me, but to not tell him about us b/c he hasn't gotten our welcome bag yet and doesn't know about us yet. She posted the pictures (he is SO SO SO precious!!!) and then she posted this email today (I'm only posting the excerpt regarding us):

And Julie A.--I asked who Tinsaye is and he came right up to me. I asked if I could take his picture and his eyes opened wide and he said in complete wonder, "Do I have a *family*?" I just said that someone wanted his picture, but he knew and he was in amazement the rest of the afternoon. He is also a cutie.

I'm sitting here crying, laughing, and shaking all at the same time ...

It's SO wonderful that he intuitively knows. He's KNOWS he is no longer a "have not" but a "have!" Praying for all the "have nots" to get families soon!

Julie, I am in tears for you!! I am so happy for you guys. I know how long you have waited for this. I agree with Paula, He knows!! Your friend may not have told him, but he KNOWS he has a family waiting for him with open arms and open hearts!! I have said it once and I will say it again...GOD IS GOOD!!

Ha! =D Brilliant!!! =) That is so awesome that he's in amazement that he has a family.

Oh my good gravy, I can't wait until he gets his "welcome bag". What's a welcome bag? It sounds wonderful, and something that he would be really really excited about. =D

What a smart cookie he is to have picked up what was going on.

Dang it! Can't wait to see pictures.
