- I sent off the Dossier Cover Doc to the Washington State Secretary of State's Office today to be authenticated, with a prepaid return priority mail envelope addressed to AAI
- Purchased an additional prepaid priority envelope for sending our notarized Power of Attorney form from the NC Secretary of State's Office to AAI
- Sent our Caroline's Promise grant application via priority mail (Okay, that one doesn't have anything to do with our dossier, but it felt good to check it off the list!!!)
- Went to the Credit Union and got our notarized financial statement
- Dropped off the medical clearance letters to be completed and notarized at the doctor's office (they should be ready to be picked up in a day or two)
I prayed before I left the house this morning that God would have the right people in the right places for all these things today. The lady at the bank is very interested in International adoption herself and was so helpful and kind. The lady at the doctor's office said she's handled many of these, so not to worry!! Thank you, Lord!!!
I'm most nervous over the Secretary of State stuff -- that seems to be the last "REALLY BIG" piece we need. I prayed as I left the post office for angels to take hold of that envelope and deliver it where it needs go.
I know it's aggressive, but I'm praying that we will be able to send our dossier out on Thursday to arrive at AAI on Friday (I'll definitely be sending it OVERNIGHT!).
