Well, we FINALLY had our yard sale!! We got up at 5:30 this past Saturday morning and started putting things out around 6:00. Believe it or not, we had our first customer at 6:15!!!!!!!!!! I mean ... I like to yard sale, but COME ON, PEOPLE!!!!!!!
So, we got everything out and had a pretty steady stream of customers until about 10am, when things slowed down dramatically.
We did not put signs out that the proceeds were to support our adoption, but with every customer who came up and bought something, I gave thanks to God for bringing them to us and knew that He was in charge!
The only "big thing" that was left at the end of the morning was our train table. Our neighbors have expressed an interest in buying that, so if that comes to pass, we will have raised about $300!! We're pleased and very grateful for that!
We packed up Mike's car with the rest of the little stuff that was left over and he took that to the donation center today.
