We are Home!!!!

We are home from Ethiopia!! We arrived back at our home airport yesterday afternoon around 2pm Eastern time. Mike and I cried as we greeted our children here and introduced them to their new brother. I am so sorry that I was not able to post more the week before we left or last week while traveling. The Internet connection available to us was very slow and it was quite laborious to post anything. By the time I went to bed last night (about 8:30pm), I had been up for 36 hours straight, with 20 of those spent on an airplane. I was so tired, I felt sick and literally could not see straight. My Mom had done some grocery shopping for us and made us a casserole for dinner -- praise the Lord for her servent's heart!!! There is so, so much to share. It was a life changing trip. Not just because our family grew, but because of all we witnessed, encountered, and experienced. In the coming days, I will journal out a day-by-day, play-by-play narration, so stay tuned. I've been trying to post a couple of pics, but I'm having technical difficulties at the moment (my laptop is down right now, and I'm trying to work on our ancient desktop and it's not going very well!!)...so stay tuned. Much more to come!

Welcome home!

I've been blog-stalking to see if you were back yet. I am so glad you are all home safely.

I believe I spotted Tinsaye in some of the latest Snapfish photos. I think you were spending time with the Zacapu family. Tinsaye looks great in his new clothes, and he seemed to be very happy. There's something about having a family that puts an extra spark in a child's eyes.

Enjoy this exciting time!
